VESUN Lamp – Warranty Claim

Definition: The stated “warranty start date” in this claim refers to (1) the delivery date of products from production department of VESUN Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter stated as “VESUN”); or (2) Purchasing date of products from VESUN authorized distributor/dealer, the date no later than 90-Day after VESUN delivered the products. 

Warranty Terms:

VESUN Lamps’ warranties all refer to several days from warranty start date.

1: VESUN Lamps Warranty typically is 120-Day or 500-Hour, whichever occurs first. For any claims of defects in material or workmanship occurs under condition of normal operation as described in product manual, VESUN will provide Depot Repair Services.  The defective products would be processed within 30 days, counting from the date VESUN Maintenance Center received them. VESUN is entitled to repair or replace the defective products. The replacement items could be new products or repaired products with equivalent function and quality. The defective products replaced with new items will revert to the VESUN. VESUN would manage to settle the defective products in 30 days. The actual time consumed subjects to different circumstances.

The warranty will not subject to repair. However, repaired or replaced products will be guaranteed within the remained period of original warranty; or within 3-Month or 500-Hour counting from the date repaired or replaced products be delivered, whichever occurs first.

2: Defect on Arrival (DOA). The performance failure with no appearance damage occurs in 48-hour of installation and also within 30 days of warranty start date can be defined as DOA products. “Performance failure” refers to products cannot be performed as described in product manual. Upon the acceptance of claim of DOA, VESUN will send the new product for replacement within 2 working days. Customers are required to send back the defect products within 15 working days after they receive the replacement, or the payment for replacement will be imposed on customers. Due to limitation of transportation, areas outside the mainland of China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), the arrival of replacement product will take longer time.

3: Lamp Returns Process. Before the shipment of defective products back to VESUN, customer must be obtained the imitation of VESUN Lamp Return Process, or technical supports for diagnosis, configuration and installation will not be provided. Related costs for shipping defective products back to VESUN are borne by customers. VESUN bear the costs to ship repaired or replaced products to customer. In a case that the claimed defective product is diagnosed as normal, the customer would bear all costs caused. If VESUN diagnosed the damage is not covered by warranty, customer is required to pay the repair service charge and related transportation fees. 

Warranty Limitations:

(1) Warranty is subject to a valid defect being identified, it does not cover damage resulting from:

  1. Unauthorized modification, disassembly or repair.
  2. Improper use or installation did not follow the product manual.
  3. Any act of God, fire, flood, war and similar.
  4. Accident, neglect or misuse.
  5. Failure or fluctuation of electrical power or environmental conditions.
  6. Use of products beyond normal operating conditions as defined by projector manufacturer for the relevant projector.

(2) VESUN Lamp Warranty does not cover product installation.

(3) Accessories and consumables are not covered by warranty, for instance, product manual, power line, IC.
